Introduction
BackgroundShuffler is a .NET framework version 2.0, WinForms tray application that allows randomly displays user selected image as the desktop wallpaper image. BackgroundShuffler is an updated and enhanced version of my previous random desktop wallpaper application, WallpaperRandomize.
Features
- User selectable image search paths. Selectable recusrsive subfolder image search.
- Images can be displayed in centered, stretched or tiled format. The active wallpaper image can also be rotated, placed on an ignore list (not shown again) or skipped.
- Shortcut key combination (Alt-Shift-S) to skip the current wallpaper image.
- Updates to the wallpaper image can be paused and resumed as needed
(for example: updates can be paused whilst playing a game)
- Configurable time period between wallpaper image updates.
- Application can be configured to run when Windows starts.
Requirements
- Operating system: Microsoft Windows 2000, 2003 server, XP or Vista
- Software: Microsoft .NET framework 2.0 installed
- Storage Space: Approximately 250kB of space for the installed application
