BT fun and games

I'm writing this from the local library computer as the telephone and internet haven't been connected at home yet. Unfortunately the previous tenant did not put a 'stop' on the line and we are stuck with waiting 11 working days for the line to be switched over to us.
Trying to sort the whole mess out with BT is a true nightmare. I thought Telstra in Australia was bad...
If you need to contact me in the interim, I will check email infrequently so my UK mobile is the best option.
